What does it actually cost me?+
Nothing up front. InFuture funds the industrial design, the mould tooling, the sampling rounds, the production run and the freight. You carry no purchase order, no MOQ and no inventory. We recover our cost from the sale price before the net split — you never owe us money if an edition underperforms.
Who owns the artwork?+
You do, completely and permanently. We license only the specific physical production batch we manufacture, for the territories we distribute in. Your copyright, your right to sell prints, your right to license elsewhere — all untouched.
How is the 50% calculated?+
Net royalty: revenue received, less landed manufacturing cost, retail margin, payment fees and freight. Every batch has a line-itemised ledger visible in your workspace, so you can see exactly how a number was reached rather than trusting a summary figure.
How big does my audience need to be?+
There is no follower threshold. We have run editions for illustrators with four-figure followings where the work suited a specific bookstore audience. What we look for is a coherent story and work that gains something from being held.
What do I need to submit?+
A project name, the story behind the work, and links to what you have made. Finished files are not required at proposal stage — we build the production artwork with you after the brief is agreed.
